This notice is provided by Louisiana Public Facilities Authority to inform you of our privacy policies. Your privacy is important to us, and our policies are designed to protect your personal information.

We collect non-public personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications, promissory notes, correspondence and other forms;
• Information about your student loan transactions with us or others;
• Information received from schools you attend or formerly attended, or to which you have applied for admission;
• Information we receive from lenders or guarantors;
• Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency; and
• Non-public personal information is information about you that is not publicly available.

We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. We disclose such information as is necessary or appropriate to administer your loan (for example, to schools, loan servicers and guarantors, and the Department of Education) or in connection with the proposed sale or financing of your loan.

We restrict access to non-public personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information.
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
